10-Year Anniversary Branding for the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale
10-year anniversary branding (including logo design, hand-painted typography, design of newsletter templates, brochures and stationery) for the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale. The museum is now the NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale. Museum membership, as well as their collection of fine art, grew rapidly after the anniversary. They also benefit from an excellent reputation and wide-ranging donor-base (including deep connections into the business community).
We hand-painted the “10” and the paint spatters, then manually vectorized them in Adobe Illustrator. The “paint” was used on everything, from posters to stationery. The “10” felt right at home in a museum of art, evoking an artistic feel.
Tasks included: Brand and Logo Development, Graphic Design, Art Direction, Hand Typography, Retouching Scans of Artworks, Newsletter and Brochure Design, Stationery
The project was completed in partnership with the inimitable Sharon Collins of Second Sight.
